About
IMAX Syndicate is a home for people who care which screen a film plays on. Whether you catch one blockbuster a year or plan your week around 70mm showings, you'll fit right in. We're 5,000+ movie fans across the USA, Canada, the UK and Europe, India, Thailand, Japan, Australia and New Zealand, and every region has its own channels for local news, screenings and ticket drops near you.
Say what you actually think 🗣️ Free discussion is what this server is built on, from movie reviews and fan theories to box office predictions. Loved the film everyone hated? Think a classic is overrated? Say it 🔥 Unpopular opinions are welcome here, and nobody gets shouted down for a different take. Keep it about the movie, and bring your hottest take.
Never miss tickets 🎟️ Our own bot watches AMC, Regal, Cinemark, Cineplex, ODEON, the BFI IMAX and 470+ cinemas worldwide, and posts the moment tickets drop for IMAX, Dolby Cinema, 70mm and fan event screenings. Tap 🔔 on any alert to get pinged only for the film or cinema you care about. Sold out anyway? Our trading channels are where members buy, sell and swap seats, and they open once you've been chatting for a while, which keeps new accounts and scammers out.
All things IMAX 🎥 1.43 vs 1.90, 70mm film vs laser, which screens are worth the drive and where the best seats are. Alerts even show how much of a film was shot for IMAX, like 1.43:1 for 62 of its 166 minutes, and there's always a category for the next big release, like the newest Christopher Nolan film, with its own news and on-sale alerts.
Games you play right in chat 🎬 Box Office Battle is our own battle game: you and a rival each pitch a movie, draft your cast and crew, survive the shoot and the press, then go head to head over three premiere nights. The bigger box office wins. Want something quicker? /duel anyone for film trivia, a buzzer race, poster scrambles and five more games.
Your movie life 🍿 Log and rate every movie you see with /watched or link your Letterboxd, share photos from your theatre visits, post your art and cosplay, keep your daily streak, level up, earn Reels to spend in the server shop, top the leaderboards and win giveaways.
Pick your region, tap 🔔 on the films you're waiting for, and come say hi 👋
